Men who are soft might find it especially difficult to be assertive and fight society on that point :D
then it's not being "soft", it's being a coward.

Well that's the point, right? Men who are not assertive are called cowards, which is why they have problems fitting in the little box of machismo society has created for men. On the other hand, society says it's all fine for women not to be assertive (and in fact encourages it; women who are assertive are called "bossy" and so on). That's why there are men who start believing it'd be simpler to just claim they are women, even though that makes no sense at all

I cleary said soft as in genuinely nice, gentle, pacific towards women especifically. Someone soft is not someone less assertive or who avoids fighting when needed.

Other than that, I agree with your next point, it doesn't make sense indeed. This is why we say transactivism is misogynistic, sexist and homophobic. It's patriarchy 2.0, the acceptable woke edition.

Celina, you'd be surprised, soft can be a relative term I suppose. You're right, we would divide the softness from lack of assertiveness, though no, they aren't mutually exclusive either. And it would seem to be precisely that overlap where we run into the grey area. Where might this get covered in the comic though? Tange be killin' it on the mic today. What is she, a temp It Girl? Hehehe, bring them to the next poetry slam, they'll have a blast.

I explain what I meant. If you still choose to hear it as ambiguous, that's on you, man.

Dw not too ambiguous to me, no. (Though not not ambiguous at all either...?)

What I don't quite get is, what's Tat's stance on #MeToo and #BlackLivesMatter? Is he... for the movement but not the use of social media to exploit it? What does that mean for the very ideas of Me Too and Black Lives Matter...?

I don't think I've seen anything about #MeToo, but there's a couple of places that clearly refer to #BLM as being co-opted by the so-called "Woke" movement to claim moral superiority while silencing dissenting voices, like here:

It seems to me that the aware bears represent the various symbols that are claimed by the woke movement: "communism", "diversity", "blm" and "antifa" and used by the media to brainwash people:

Though probably this isn't meant to represent the true ideas behind those symbols, rather the fake version pushed on people, like "communist merch".
Looting is also clearly condemned, though I think only the most right-wing commenters blame looting on BLM...?

Eh looting isn't even as big a deal since those whole failed tech heist attempts started when stores just began to remotely track whatever is taken. But take that from someone who explores abandoned houses before their demolition.

Chances are these people who are being blacklisted in strips such as today's are the kinds of characters who don't renounce the true ideas, yes. They're just calling out corruption of the ideas within the system, and subsequently being attacked by and today literally kicked out of said system.

It's kind of like if I said the true irony is that Sinfest isn't exempt from Rule 34 and it was enough of a trigger for an immediate ban. May have mentioned before, one tenant of mine accidentally wound up at a business party weekend with Ted Cruz, called it "paradise, except you're in Hell."

Mostly for the irony of it to be honest. I was basically saying if Tat was Ted Cruz he would immediately ban me for that kind of joke.

Atm I also wonder how often the characters are mutually exclusive? Like there are probably people out in the world who have a bit of both the new redneck guy and the Qanon guys in them. Hm....

Yeah it's a bit tough to explain the obviousness factor in "white guilt rays" from today's strip for example. Like that Woke TV would even allow that kind of absurdity maybe isn't even on Amber's radar. She's still there too though....
